Boardwalk Empire

<p>Season 1: Atlantic City in the 1920s is the setting for the series based on the book by Nelson Johnson about how the city turned into the infamous gambling locale.</p>

<p>Season 2: After a successful election of his pick for Mayor, Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) comes under investigation for voter fraud and soon finds his position tenuous as his family and friends turn against him.</p>

<p>Season 3: The third season opens with Nucky Thompson celebrating the countdown to 1923. However, trouble brews as Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale), a mobster from Brooklyn, who disagrees with some of Nucky's decisions.</p>

<p>Season 4: Season four picks up in 1924 and Nucky has new problems in the form of Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) and FBI Agent Loren Knox (Brian Geraghty). Patricia Arquette joins the cast as a speakeasy owner named Sally Wheet.</p>

<p>Season 5: The final season of the drama picks up in 1931 as Nucky plans life after Prohibition.</p>
