Based on the novel by Georges Simenon, <em>The Blue Room</em> tells the story of Julian and Esther, a couple involved in an adulterous affair. The film retroactively examines the consequences of their relationship as Julian recalls the events of the experience before the police, defending himself against an unknown crime.
