Tallulah

Young free-spirited vagabond Tallulah (Ellen Page) lives in a van and relishes her independence as she lived a hand-to-mouth existence. When their nomadic lifestyle becomes tiresome, privileged boyfriend Nico unceremoniously leaves Tallulah in the middle of the night. Tallulah travels to New York City to confront Nico. While in New York, Tallulah scavenges food in the hallways of an upscale hotel where she is mistaken for a hotel employee by Carolyn (Tammy Blanchard) who hires Tallulah to baby-sit her toddler. Witnessing Carolyn's absentee and reckless parenting, Tallulah impulsively “rescues” or kidnaps the baby and enlists the help of Nico's high-strung academic mother, Margo (Allison Janney), who believes the child is her granddaughter. Despite their differences, the three women ultimately find connection and their lives transformed by Tallulah's unorthodox actions.
