Small Town Girl
An aspiring Broadway actor (Farley Granger) is infatuated by a star, Lisa (Ann Miller) and finds himself in a predicament when he gets a 30 day prison sentence for speeding in a small town. He convinces the judge's daughter (Jane Powell) to let him go for a night so that he can see Lisa on her birthday, but drama arises as the judge's daughter finds herself falling for this man, knowing that her father already has a match for her.
