Lady for a Day
Apple Annie has always written to her daughter who lives in Spain that she was a high society woman living in New York City. Annie, who is a Times Square apple seller, must find a way to keep up her ruse and fool her daughter into believing she is the wealthy woman she claims to be. She gets unexpected help from Dave the Dude, a well-known figure in underground circles who considers Annie his good luck charm.
