Agnus Dei
In 1945 Poland, Mathilde, a young french doctor, works to help World War II soldiers. When she is contacted by a nun, she is brought to a convent where several pregnant sisters are hidden due to barbarous actions of the Soviet soldiers. The nuns struggle to reconcile their faith with and their pregnancies, and turn to Mathilde for help.
